The junior sociology major captured the triple jump national championship at the NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Wartburg College on March 29.  He also won the indoor title in mid-March.  Like at the indoor championships, the Ezike registered the winning mark on his very first jump, posting a distance of 15.53 meters.
