Sawyer, a freshman biology major, took first place in the 60-meter hurdles this weekend posting a time of 9.15 at finals. The time qualified Sawyer for the regional championships in March. Sawyer currently holds the second fastest mark in the SUNYAC in the event. She also currently sits sixth in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference in the event.
