Sawyer, a freshman biology major, took the award for Women’s Most Valuable Performer for her efforts throughout the meet. Sawyer was the SUNYAC Champion in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.80 seconds. She would also go on to finish second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.80 seconds and second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.52 seconds.
