Pezdek, a freshman pitcher, had an impressive showing in her SUNYAC Tournament debut making four appearances for Buffalo State. The Bengals picked up their first win of the tournament in a battle with Fredonia where Pezdek went 6.2 innings in relief allowing no runs on four hits with four strikeouts. At the plate, Pezdek also was 3-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored against the Blue Devils. In Saturday's elimination game against Oneonta, Pezdek was strong on the mound again pitching a complete game allowing just one earned run on four hits while striking out five. In addition, Pezdek was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
