BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (1-7) overcame a 13-point deficit to lead in the second half, but it could not hold on as Pitt-Bradford (3-5) prevailed 64-59 in a non-conference game tonight at the Sports Arena.

Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) led the Bengals with 18 points and seven boards. Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) posted her first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 10 assists, to go with seven rebounds and six steals.

The Panthers jumped out to a 21-8 lead, but the Bengals cut the margin to just 32-29 at the intermission. Buffalo State took its first lead early in the second half and led by as many as five, but it could not hold Pitt-Bradford off down the stretch.

Buffalo State will break for the holidays before returning to action on Jan. 3 at the York (Pa.) Holiday Classic.
