BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State women's basketball team earned a team honor roll special mention in the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division III Academic Team Honor Roll, which was announced on Tuesday.  

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPA's inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. A team must have a combined GPA of 3.0 or better and be nominated by its head coach who must be a member of the WBCA to be recognized. The 2025-26 season is the 31st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.

Buffalo State earned a special mention after posting a 3.52 team GPA in 2025-26. Eight student-athletes finished with a GPA over 3.25 while six of those student-athletes finished on the Dean's List.
