BUFFALO, NY—Nazareth (3-2) outscored Buffalo State (1-4) 24-3 from 3-point range en route to a 64-56 victory in a non-conference meeting tonight at the Sports Arena.

Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) netted a career-high 20 points to lead the Bengals, including hitting 10 of 10 from the charity stripe. She added eight rebounds and five steals and matched another career high with seven assists. Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) had a double-double with 18 points and 10 boards.

Buffalo State opened the game with an 11-6 advantage, but the Golden Flyer assembled a 21-6 run and led 36-23 at the half. The Bengals cut the deficit to just four in the second half, but could not pull any closer. Nazareth's bench scored 27 points compared to just 11 by Buffalo State's.

Buffalo State will travel to Oneonta on Friday to return to SUNYAC play.
