BROCKPORT, NY—Buffalo State (4-8-1/3-4-1) dropped its third-straight decision to close out the first semester, falling 3-1 at Brockport (5-5-2/3-3-2) in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Tuttle North Arena.

The Golden Eagles scored once in the first and once in the second to take a 2-0 lead into the final period. Brockport pushed the advantage to 3-0 with a 4-on-4 goal midway through the third period. Jason Hill (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) finally got the Bengals on the score board with a power-play goal with assists from Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) and Joel Sheppard (Pefferlaw, ON/Sutton District), but the Bengals would not score again.

Brockport outshot Buffalo State, 39-32. Alan Fritch (Saginaw, MI/Heritage) made 36 saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will not play again until Jan. 9 and 10 when it will make the trip to Hershey, Pa. for a pair of games against Lebanon Valley.
