BUFFALO, NY— Geneseo (5-11/2-5) led wire-to-wire, claiming a 70-58 victory over host Buffalo State (3-13/2-6) in a SUNYAC contest tonight at the Sports Arena.

Divine Sebuharara (Vestal/Vestal) led the Bengals with a career-high 12 points. Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Jessica Clark (Fulton/G. Ray Bodley) also scored 11.

Geneseo never trailed and led 36-28 at the intermission. The Knights pulled away in the second half, leading by as many as 20 before coasting to the 12-point win. Geneseo outscored Buffalo State 17-4 on the fast break.

Buffalo State play at D'Youville on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
