BUFFALO, NY— D'Youville (9-8) shot 44-percent and overcame an eight-point second-half deficit to defeat visiting Buffalo State (3-14), 77-69, in a non-conference contest tonight at College Center Gymnasium.

Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) led the Bengals' offensive attack with a career-high 21 points. Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) added 20 points and grabbed a team-best 11 rebounds.

Buffalo State led 37-30 at halftime and led by eight early in the second period before D'Youville mounted a 25-8 run to go on top for good. The Bengals shot just 30-percent from the field.

Buffalo State will next play at Plattsburgh in a critical game in the fight for a SUNYAC playoff berth on Friday at 6 p.m.
