GENESEO, NY— Buffalo State (1-5-1/1-4/0) traveled to Geneseo tonight for a SUNYAC road contest against the Knights (3-5-0/2-3-0) but the Knights would come out on top with a 3-2 victory.

After no scoring in the first period, Geneseo would close the second leading 2-1 as Dan Brown (Lancaster/Capitol District Selects) and Kaz Iwamoto (Tomakomai, JAPAN/Wyoming Seminary) scored goals sandwiched around a Buffalo State goal from Shareef Labreche (Markham, ON/Markham District) who had his third of the year on the power play at 6:35.

Nick Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) would tie the game at two with his fifth at 13:51 but the Knights would score late as Ryan Bulach (Kelowna, BC/Trail Smoke Eaters) tallied the game-winner at 15:39 in the third to complete the scoring on the day. The Bengals outshot Geneseo 40-38.

Buffalo State's next game will be on Nov. 20 as the Bengals will host Plattsburgh with a scheduled 7:00 p.m. start time.
