BUFFALO, NY— Plattsburgh (5-1-0/5-1-0), the third ranked team in the nation, went 4-9 on the power play en route to a 7-0 win over Buffalo State (1-6-1/1-5-0) at the Ice Arena tonight.

Plattsburgh's Dylan Clarke (Belleville, Ont.) scored two goals including the eventual game-winner at 14:54 of the first period while five other Cardinals also scored on the evening.

The Bengals were outshot by the Cardinals 34-18. Goaltender Alan Fritch (Saginaw, MI/Heritage) made 16 saves on 20 shots and Mike Mesaros (Niagara Falls, ONT/St. Paul) faced 14 shots making 11 saves as each spent time in net for the Bengals.

Buffalo State's next game will be Nov. 21 as the Bengals will host Potsdam for a 7:00 p.m. start time.
