MORRISVILLE—Five different Bengals scored and 12 had at least one point as Buffalo State (9-10-4/4-6-4) defeated host Morrisville State (5-19-1/1-14-1), 5-1, in a SUNYAC game tonight.

Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) picked up a goal and an assist to lead the attack. Kerry Barchan (Oakville, ON/Queen Elizabeth Park), Tyler Soehner (Baden, ON/Waterloo Oxford), Jesse Adair (Brampton/North Park) and Cory Park (Mississauga, ON/St. Joseph) all added a goal each.

After trading goals midway through the first period, Buffalo State pulled away with four unanswered markers. The Bengals outshot the Mustangs, 43-34. Alan Fritch (Saginaw, MI/Heritage) made 33 saves for the win between the pipes.

Buffalo State will host Geneseo next Friday at 7 p.m.
