WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.— Buffalo State (5-1) had 11 players score as it cruised to its fifth-consecutive win, defeating Western Connecticut State (2-2), 19-7, today in the Spring Fling Tournament.

Stephanie Georgopoulos (Pt. Jefferson Station/Comsewogue) led the Bengals with three goals and five assists. Karen Shaddock (Corning/Corning East) picked up three goals and four assists, also scored three times. Jennifer Tierney (Massapequa/Massapequa) had two goals and two assists, and Mariah DeBolt (Waterloo/Waterloo) had two goals and an assist. Marilyn Kush (East Aurora/East Aurora), Leanna Pace (Niskayuna/Niskayuna), Liz Eddy (Albany/Colonie), Katie Henderson (Lakeview/Frontier), Kelly Nelson (Hamburg/Frontier), Renee Glass (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville) and Leanna Pace (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) also scored for the Bengals.

Ashley O'Brien (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made 10 saves as Buffalo State. The Bengals raced out to a 12-4 halftime advantage and outshot the Colonials 34-23 for the game.

Buffalo State will meet Western Connecticut State in West Palm Beach, Fla. on Saturday at 5 p.m.
