OSWEGO, NY—Buffalo State (14-8/6-4) hit four homeruns in a two-game sweep at Oswego (3-13/0-8), winning 3-1 and 11-2 in five innings today at Laker Field Complex.

Kaylee Lekki (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) hit her second homer in as many days in the openers, and Julie Joyce (E. Pembroke/Pembroke) was 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Aimee Fisher (Hamburg/Frontier) was 2 for 4 at the plate, and earned the win allowing five hits with two strikeouts.

Buffalo State exploded for 13 hits in the shortened second game and blasted the Lakers with an eight-run third inning to ran away with the win. Kyrstin Lekki (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) was 3 for 4 with a homerun, a double and two RBIs. Sara Morse (Painted Post/Corning West) was 2 for 3 with a three-run homer, and Marissa Mariano (Williamsville/Mt. St. Mary) was 2 for 3 with a two-run shot. Nicole Sabuda (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) went 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Jenna Frieling (E. Amherst/Williamsville North) got the win, giving up four hits and striking out six in five innings of work.

Buffalo State will next travel to Fredonia on Tuesday for a doubleheader at 3 p.m.
