BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo State's Mya Hurley (Williamsville, NY/Amherst), Deme Kellogg (Gansevoort, NY/South Glens Falls), Natalie Burck (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville North), Lexi Quagliana (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South), and Ashley Jedrich (Victor, NY/Victor) have been recognized for their outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments, earning a selection to the 2026 Softball Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must display combined excellence in their sport and in the classroom, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above through at least two full semesters at their institution, while also participating in 90%, or starting 66%, of their team's contests during the season. Quagliana earns the honor for a second straight year while Hurley, Kellogg, Burck, and Jedrich each earn the honor for the first time.
 
Kellogg and Quagliana each posted a 4.00 GPA to earn All-District honors. Kellogg was a staple behind the plate for the Bengals playing in 37 games where she hit .264 with three doubles, three triples, and 20 RBI. Quagliana started all 41 games for Buffalo State where she hit a team-high .395 with 30 runs driven in along with First Team All-SUNYAC honors and NFCA Third Team All-Region honors.
 
Hurley finished with a 3.92 GPA to earn her first All-District honor. The childhood education/math major finished the season batting .297 with eight doubles, two home runs, and a .415 slugging percentage.
 
Burck and Jedrich round out the All-District selections for the Bengals after each posting strong sophomore campaigns. For Burck, she holds a 3.59 GPA and had a strong year on the field playing in 38 games with 36 hits and 32 RBI while also earning Second Team All-SUNYAC honors. For Jedrich, she played 40 games for Buffalo State hitting .339 with 19 RBI and going 16-17 on stolen base attempts. In the classroom, Jedrich finished with a 3.59 GPA as a journalism major.
