ONEONTA, NY--Buffalo State (10-1/4-0) picked up its 10-consecutive victory, matching a school record for wins in a season, defeating host Oneonta (6-4/3-1), 16-13, in a SUNYAC game today at All College Field.

Karen Shaddock (Corning/Corning East) led the Bengals with six goals and two assists. Katie Henderson (Hamburg/Frontier) and Kendyl Clarkson (Painted Post/Corning West) each had four goals and an assist, and Mariah DeBolt (Waterloo/Waterloo) and Marilyn Kush (East Aurora/East Aurora) also scored.

Buffalo State trailed 5-4 early, but scored the final six goals of the first half to take a lead it would never relinquish. Oneonta outshot the Bengals 32-30, but Ashley O'Brien (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made 14 saves for Buffalo State.

Buffalo State will visit Geneseo on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
