NEW PALTZ, NY-- Karen Shaddock (Corning/Corning East) set a new school record for points in a game, and Katie Henderson (Hamburg/Frontier) broke her own school record for goals in a season as Buffalo State (12-1/6-0) won its 12th straight game, defeating host New Paltz (2-9/0-6), 21-6, today in a SUNYAC game.

Shaddock paced the Bengals with 12 points on six goals and six assists, while Henderson had five goals and two assists, brining her season goal-scoring mark to 58. Kendyl Clarkson (Painted Post/Corning West) added three goals and four assists. Stephanie Georgopoulos (Pt. Jefferson Station/Comsewogue), Jennifer Tierney (Massapequa/Massapequa) and Mariah DeBolt (Waterloo/Waterloo) all scored twice each, and Marilyn Kush (East Aurora/East Aurora) added a single goal.

Buffalo State outshot the Hawks, 45-14, and held a 20-8 edge in ground balls. Ashley O'Brien (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made four saves and allowed just one goal over the final 36:40.

Buffalo State will next host Fredonia on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
