NEW PALTZ, NY—Buffalo State (7-4/2-2) committed a season-high 36 turnovers and lost to host New Paltz (8-4/5-1), 69-48, snapping a six-game winning streak tonight at the Hawk Center.

Krista Baker (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) led Buffalo State with 13 points off the bench, and Dee Layne (Brooklyn/East NY Family Academy) added 12 points and nine rebounds.

New Paltz never trailed, racing to a 37-16 lead at the half, and the Bengals never closed the gap.

Buffalo State will visit Oneonta tomorrow for another SUNYAC contest at 2 p.m.
