MARLBOROUGH, Mass.—Buffalo State (6-10-1) reversed its fortunes from yesterday, scoring four third-period goals of their own in a 7-4 victory over host Johnson & Wales (5-10) in a non-conference game today at the New England Sports Center. The Wildcats scored four third-period goals in a 6-4 win yesterday.

Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/South Huron) and Tyler Soehner (Baden, ON/Waterloo Oxford) each scored twice to lead Buffalo State. James Durham (Marilla/St. Francis) and Kyle Granville (Lockport/Starpoint) had a goal and an assist apiece, and #Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) also scored. Ryan Ramage (Ft. Erie, ON/Ft. Erie) picked up three assists, and Trevor McKinney (Oakwood, ON/Sinclair) added a pair of helpers.

Buffalo State controlled play from the outset, outshooting the Wildcats 42-20 for the game and 36-10 over the first two periods, but Johnson & Wales led 2-1 after the first period. The Bengals netted a pair of second period goals and pushed the lead to 4-2 early in the final frame. The Wildcats scored twice in a span of 1:36 to even the score, but the Bengals exploded for three more goals in the final 3:28 of the game. Johnathan Sourwine (Redwood/Alexandria) made 16 saves for his first career win.

Buffalo State will return to SUNYAC play next Friday when it is slated to visit the No. 1 team in the nation Oswego at 7 p.m.
