BUFFALO, NY— Sean Murray (Burlington, ON/Notre Dame) scored with two seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime for Buffalo State (6-2-2/4-2-2) as the No. 15-ranked Bengals rallied from a three-goal deficit to come away with a 3-3 draw against Morrisville State (4-3-1/4-2-1) in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Ice Arena.

Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/South Huron) and Drew Klin (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) also had one goal each for Buffalo State. Trevor McKinney (Oakwood, ON/Sinclair) and Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) chipped in two assists a piece, while James Durham (Marilla, NY/St. Francis) added one helper.

The Mustangs got on the board early, scoring on the power play less than a minute into the game and added another at 9:36 to take a 2-0 advantage into the first intermission. After a scoreless second stanza, Morrisville State scored its third of the game at 5:08 before the Bengals took over. Buffalo State rallied, recording three power-play markers, including two in a span of 39 seconds.

Buffalo State finished with a 36-34 advantage in shots and was 3 for 5 with the extra skater. Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) had 31 saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will host Utica in a non-conference game tomorrow evening at 7 p.m.
