ONEONTA, NY—Buffalo State (6-3/2-0) netted 13 first-half goals and raced past host Oneonta (7-4/1-3), 18-5, to remain unbeaten in SUNYAC play today.

Katie Henderson (Hamburg/Frontier) led the Bengals with six goals and two assists. Ashley Caporizzo (Liverpool/CNS) added three goals and an assist, and Karen Shaddock (Corning/Corning East) and Molly Seifritz (Syracuse/Henninger) each picked up two goals and three assists. Kendyl Clarkson (Painted Post/Corning West) scored twice and set up two others, and Brittany Nagowski (Lancaster/Lancaster) also scored twice, and Jen Tierney (Massapequa/Massapequa) added a goal.

Buffalo State scored nine of the game's first 11 goals and claimed a 13-4 lead at halftime, before cruising to the 13-goal victory. The Bengals outshot Oneonta, 31-24. Ashley O'Brien (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made 13 saves and allowed four goals in just under 53 minutes of play. Liz Thibault (Lancaster/Lancaster) allowed one goal and had two stops in the closing minutes.

Buffalo State will travel to Cortland next Friday at 4 p.m.
