BUFFALO, NY—Kendyl Clarkson's (Painted Post/Corning West) 10-point game helped lift Buffalo State (8-4/4-1) to a convincing 20-9 victory over visiting Oswego (6-8/0-5) in a SUNYAC game this afternoon at Coyer Field.

Clarkson led the Bengals with three goals and seven assists. Karen Shaddock (Corning/Corning East) pitched in three goals and three assists, Mariah DeBolt (Waterloo/Waterloo) had three goals and one assist, and Molly Seifritz (Syracuse/Henninger) also scored three times. Ashley Caporizzo (Liverpool/CNS) added two goals and an assist, and Renee Glass (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville) also netted a pair of goals. Marilyn Kush (East Aurora/East Aurora), Alyssa VanDurme (Oswego/Oswego), Angela Sanita (Lancaster/Lancaster) and Caitlin Butler (E. Amherst/Williamsville North) scored a goal apiece to complete the Buffalo State scoring.

Oswego opened the scoring 1:12 into the game, but Buffalo State potted the game's next six goals and never looked back. The Bengals controlled play for the majority of the game, and outshot the Lakers, 32-21.

Buffalo State host Potsdam in another SUNYAC contest tomorrow at 1 p.m.
