BUFFALO, NY—Six different Bengals scored as Buffalo State (8-7-2) blanked Johnson & Wales (7-7-1), 7-0, in a non-conference game tonight at the Ice Arena.

Nicholas Petriello (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross) and James Durham (Marilla, NY/St. Francis) each recorded a goal and two assists. Drew Klin (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) scored twice, while Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/South Huron) and Mike Zannella (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca) added a goal and an assist apiece. Kyle Granville (Lockport, NY/Lockport) had one goal and Sean Murray (Burlington, ON/Notre Dame) chipped in three helpers.

The Bengals scored three goals in the first period and never looked back, adding on three more in the second and one in the third to complete the weekend sweep of the Wildcats.

Buffalo State was 3 for 9 on the power play and outshot Johnson & Wales, 31-29. Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) earned his second shutout of the season.

Buffalo State returns to SUNYAC play Friday when it hosts No. 1-ranked Oswego at 7 p.m.
