NEW PALTZ, NY— Buffalo State (5-4/0-3) committed 25 turnovers and shot just 25-percent from the field, falling 67-40 to host New Paltz (5-5/3-0) in a SUNYAC contest this evening.

Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) was the only Bengal scorer in double-figures with 10 points and added five assists. Dee Layne (Brooklyn/E. NY Family) had eight points and four steals, and Divine Sebuhara (Vestal/Vestal) had a team-high eight rebounds.

Buffalo State trailed 28-15 at the intermission, and could not climb back into the game in the final period. New Paltz shot 37-percent from the game and out-rebounded the Bengals, 49-37. The Hawks also outscored Buffalo State 15-3 from 3-point range.

Buffalo State will visit Oneonta tomorrow for a 2 p.m. contest.
