BUFFALO, NY—Four different Bengals scored as Buffalo State (3-2/3-2) never trailed and clipped fifth-ranked Plattsburgh (3-1/3-1), 4-3, in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Ice Arena. 

Drew Klin (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster), Trevor McKinney (Oakwood, ON/Sinclair), Dave Lansdowne (Toronto, ON/Leaside) and Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/South Huron) all scored for Buffalo State.  Kyle Whipple (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore West) chipped in two assists. 

Klin opened the scoring on an unassisted tally at the 14:11 mark of the first period.  Plattsburgh's Patrick Jobb notched his first of the season just over four minutes later to even things at 1-1.  Buffalo State converted on two of its first three shots to start the second stanza, including Lansdowne's goal off a lead pass from Whipple as he was coming out of the penalty box to take a 3-1 lead.  The Cardinals cut the deficit to one at 7:49 when Jake Mooney found the back of the net.  Knee scored the game winner off a long wrist shot at the 12:25 mark of the third period and despite a power-play marker by Plattsburgh less than a minute later, the Bengals were able to hang on for the win.

Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) turned aside 25 shots to pick up his third win of the season, as Plattsburgh held a slim, 28-26, advantage in shots. 

Buffalo State will next host Cortland Friday at 7 p.m.
