BUFFALO, NY—Fredonia (4-3-3/2-3-3) rallied from a a pair of two-goal deficits to tie Buffalo State (5-4-1/4-3-1), 3-3, in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Ice Arena.

Clay Lewis (Sparks, NV/Hug), James Durham (Marilla, NY/St. Francis) and Justin Knee (Centralia, ON/South Huron) all scored for Buffalo State.  Drew Klin (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster), Anthony Orange (Plainfield, IL/Plainfield South) and Trevor McKinney (Oakwood, ON/Sinclair) chipped in one assist apiece.

Bradley Nunn (Stony Brook, NY) led the Blue Devils with a goal and an assist.  Jared Wynia (Calgary, AB) and Bryan Ross (Livonia, MI) also scored for Fredonia. 

After a scoreless first period, Lewis got Buffalo State on the board first, scoring his first collegiate goal at 2:29.  Durham gave the Bengals a 2-0 lead less than a minute later, but Fredonia responded at 6:28 to cut the lead in half.  Both teams each added another goal to close out the second period, with the Blue Devils tying the game in the third at 5:29 and neither team finding the back of the net in the extra session.

Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) finished with 29 saves for Buffalo State.  Jeff Holloway (Red Deer, AB) had 16 saves in relief of Mark Friesen (Calgary, AB) who was pulled in the second period.

Buffalo State is back in action tomorrow when it travels to No. 8 Utica for a non-conference game at 6 p.m.
