GENESEO, NY—Geneseo (16-2/11-0) used a late run to pull away and remain undefeated in SUNYAC play, defeating visiting Buffalo State (10-8/5-7), 64-52, this evening in Schrader Gymnasium.

Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) led Buffalo State with 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Staci McElroy (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs) added 11 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

The Bengals trailed 30-25 at the intermission, with Kiliszek and McElroy combining for all but two of Buffalo State's first-half points. The Bengals battled back and led briefly in the second half, 43-41, but the Blue Knights answered immediately, and outscored Buffalo State 23-9 the rest of the way. Geneseo shot 53-percent from 3-point range and outscored the Bengals 27-12 from beyond the arc.

Buffalo State will next host Oneonta on Friday at 6 p.m.
