POTSDAM, NY-- Karen Shaddock (Corning/Corning East) had four goals and four assists and Buffalo State (10-4/5-1) scored nine of the game's first 10 goals and cruised to a 16-8 victory at Potsdam (4-10/0-6) this afternoon in a SUNYAC contest.

Molly Seifritz (Syracuse/Henninger) and Ashley Caporizzo (Liverpool/CNS) also scored four times each, and Kendyl Clarkson (Painted Post/Corning West) had a goal and six assists to lead the Bengals. Mariah DeBolt (Waterloo/Waterloo) and Maggie Sharp (Airmont/Suffern) added single markers for Buffalo State.

The Bengals led 10-2 at the intermission and scored the first three goals of the second half to put the game out of reach. Buffalo State outshot the Bears 34-26, and Ashley O'Brien (Penfield/Honeoye Falls-Lima) made 10 saves in goal for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will host Brockport on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the home regular season finale.
