BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (15-19/10-8) split with visiting Brockport (22-13-1/8-9-1), dropping the first game, while winning the nightcap in five innings.

Buffalo State dropped the opening game 5-3, led by Kyrstin Lekki (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) going 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI. Krista Baker (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) also went 2 for 4 and Aleesha Williams (Cheektowaga/Pioneer) homered for the Bengals. Williams took the loss on the mound, giving up five runs on 12 hits.

In the second game, Buffalo State cruised past the Golden Eagles, winning 15-3 in five innings. Williams led the Bengals going 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI's. Kyrstin Lekki went 2 for 3, including a double, a home run and three RBI's. Kaylee Lekki (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) had the win on the mound, allowing just three runs on six hits.

No. 5 Buffalo State will play No. 2 Plattsburgh in the first round of the SUNYAC playoffs at Cortland on Thursday at 11 a.m.
