PLATTSBURGH, NY—No. 3 Plattsburgh (15-2-4/10-1-1) scored the game's only goal with less than a minute remaining in the first period to blank Buffalo State (10-10-2/6-6-1), 1-0, in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Stafford Ice Arena.

The Cardinals fired 42 shots at the Buffalo State net, while the Bengals were held to just 15 shots on goal for the game.

Both teams were 0 for 2 with the man advantage.  Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) made 41 saves between the pipes for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will next play at Cortland Friday at 7 p.m.
