Box Score BUFFALO, NY—Nationally-ranked No. 14 Geneseo (7-2/6-1) netted a goal in each period and blanked Buffalo State (4-3-3/3-3-2), 3-0, in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Ice Arena.

The Knights' David Ripple scored the game winner with just over a minute to play in the first period. Geneseo added a power play marker at 14:06 of the second and another even-strength goal in the third to complete the scoring.

Geneseo outshot Buffalo State, 29-14, and finished 1 for 9 on the power play, while the Bengals were 0 for 8 with the extra skater. Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) had 26 saves in the loss.

Buffalo State will host Brockport for another conference game tomorrow at 7 p.m.
