BUFFALO, NY—Nationally No. 2-ranked Oswego (19-3/12-1) controlled play for the majority of the contest and skated to a commanding 4-0 victory over host Buffalo State (10-11-2/5-8-1) tonight in a SUNYAC matchup.

The Lakers opened the scoring with a power-play tally 5:40 into the opening period and led 1-0 at the first intermission, outshooting the Bengals 13-2 in the opening 20 minutes.  Oswego scored twice more in the middle frame and added a final tally in the game's closing minutes.

The Lakers finished with a 33-18 advantage in shots. Kevin Carr (Uniondale, ON/Uniondale) had 29 stops between the pipes for Buffalo State.

Oswego finished 2 for 7 on the power play, and Buffalo State was 0 for 5 with the man-advantage.

Buffalo State will host another league game tomorrow against Cortland at 7 p.m.
