Box Score FREDONIA, NY—Fredonia (8-4/3-3) dealt visiting Buffalo State (10-3/5-1) its first SUNYAC loss of the season with a convincing 81-58 victory this evening at Steele Hall. Fredonia's 81 points were the most allowed by the Bengals this season.

The Bengals had just two players score in double-figures with Kala Crawford (Middle Falls/Saratoga Springs) and Olivia Luciani (Syracuse/E. Syracuse Minoa) netting 12 points each.

Fredonia never trailed and build a 44-26 lead by halftime, and the Bengals never threatened in the second half. The Blue Devils shot 55-percent for the game, including 50-percent (4 of 8) from 3-point range, compared to just 31-percent shooting from the field and 28-percent (5 of 18) from long range by the Bengals. Fredonia was also much more efficient at the at the free throw line, hitting 17 of 23 (74-percent), while Buffalo State was only 7 of 13 (54-percent).

Buffalo State will look to bounce back with another road game at Brockport on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
