PITTSBURGH, Pa.—Buffalo State (5-2-1/5-1-0) used the exact same script on consecutive days, and pushed its winning streak to four while completing the weekend sweep over host Chatham (2-5-0/0-4-0) with another 3-1 victory today in an ECAC West contest.
 
Just like yesterday, Chatham scored first, and then the same three Buffalo State players scored a goal apiece to complete the scoring.  The Cougars scored 14 seconds into the second period, but the Bengals responded later in the frame with goals by Erin Gehen (W. Seneca, NY/W. Seneca West), Kara Goodwin (Avon Lake, OH/Avon Lake), and Catie Horvatits (Elma, NY/Iroquois) in a span of less than five minutes. 
 
Gehen, Christine Harris (Mountain Top, PA/Wyoming Seminary), and Bri Carroll (Peoria, AZ/AZ Virtual Academy) all drew assists.
 
Chatham held a 33-27 edge in shots, but Buffalo State outshot Chatham 10-8 after taking the lead into the final frame.  Justine Silva (El Monte, CA/Arroyo) made 32 stops to earn the victory in goal for the Bengals.
 
Buffalo State will visit Franklin Pierce for a pair of non-conference games next Saturday and Sunday.
