Box Score FREDONIA, NY—Buffalo State (9-9-5/6-4-4) and Fredonia (6-10-6/4-5-5) skated to a tie for the second time this season, ending deadlocked at 2-2 in a SUNYAC game tonight at Steele Hall.

Fredonia opened the scoring six minutes into the game, but Sean Hrivnak (Laval, QC/College Laval) netted his second goal of the season to even the score for the Bengals just minutes later. Mike Zannella's (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca) seventh goal of the season on the power-play early in the second period gave the Bengals a lead, but this time Fredonia had the answer less than seven minutes later to complete the scoring.

Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) finished with 37 saves, and Dan Turgeon (Centennial, CO/Cherokee Trail) and Taylor Pryce (Newmarket, ON/Cardinal Carter) had a pair of assists each for Buffalo State.

Fredonia had a 39-35 advantage in shots, including registering the only two shots of the overtime session. The Bengals finished 1 for 4 on the power play, while the Blue Devils were 0 for 2.

Buffalo State remains three points ahead of Fredonia in fourth place in the conference standings with two games remaining.

Buffalo State will close out the regular season next weekend at Geneseo and Brockport on Friday and Saturday respectively.
