Box Score NEW PALTZ, NY—Staci McElroy (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs) matched a career-high with 30 points to lead Buffalo State (17-3/12-1) to its seventh-consecutive victory, as the Bengals pulled away from host New Paltz (5-16/3-11) for a 78-55 victory tonight in a SUNYAC contest.

Ashley Wallace (Lockport/Starpoint) added 19 points, and Kala Crawford (Middle Falls/Saratoga Springs) had seven points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Mary Cain (Niagara Falls/Niagara Catholic) also had 10 rebounds, four points and four assists.

Buffalo State led just 37-32 at halftime, but took control and steadily pulled away in the second half. The Bengals shot 44-percent from the field for the game, compared to 34-percent shooting by the Hawks. Buffalo State also outscored New Paltz at the free throw line, 22-7, and held a 52-36 rebounding advantage.
