Box Score PLATTSBURGH, NY—No. 6 Plattsburgh (18-3-2/11-1-2) pitched a 2-0 shutout over visiting Buffalo State (9-9-4/6-4-3) who was playing without three suspended regulars, including its top-two scorers, in a SUNYAC game tonight at Stafford Arena.

Plattsburgh opened the scoring just 26 seconds into the contest, and the only other goal of the game came late in the second period.

The Cardinals finished with a 31-24 advantage in shots, as Kevin Carr (Unionville, ON/Unionville) made 29 saves to give the Bengals a chance. Without top-scorers Dan Turgeon (Centennial, CO/Cherokee Trail) and Mike Zannella (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca), Buffalo State was not able to break through. The Bengals finished 0 for 5 on the power play, and Plattsburgh went 0 for 4.

Buffalo State will play at Fredonia next Friday at 7 p.m.
