Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ONEONTA, NY—Oneonta (23-9/13-3) slipped past visiting Buffalo State (15-13/7-7) 2-0 in the first half of today's SUNYAC doubleheader, and then completed the sweep with a 6-1 victory in the late game.
 
Oneonta's only runs in the first game came off a pair of RBI singles in the second and fifth innings and the Red Dragons limited Buffalo State to just two hits for the game, both by Taylor Swiatek (East Aurora/Orchard Park) who finished 2 for 3.  Maddie Coneys (Clifton Park/Catholic Central) suffered the loss, allowing just seven hits and one earned run in five innings.  Sam Tilkins (Grand Island/Grand Island) threw one inning of no-hit relief.
 
Buffalo State scored first in the late game on an RBI double by Joanna Bardak (Amherst/Amherst), but Oneonta scored two runs in the bottom of the first and three more in the second and never looked back.  The Red Dragons outhit the Bengals 10-4.  Jordan Sarat (Caledonia/Caledonia-Mumford) took the loss, allowing 10 hits and six runs in four innings of work.  Tilkins three two more innings of no-hit relief.

Buffalo State will look to get back on track tomorrow at New Paltz at noon.
