  • The Bengals took a 2-1 lead 57 seconds into the third period after Todd Graham (Melbourne, Australia/Rice Memorial) dumped the puck to Brett Hope (Blenheim, ON/Blenheim) who found Salkeld in front of the net for the finish on a power play.
  • Midway through the third, the Golden Flyers managed an equalizer off a goal from Scott Dawson.
  • Despite outshooting Nazareth 20-11 in the third period, the Bengals could not find the back of the net.
