Breanna Knight (Valley Stream/Valley Steam South) scored her second goal of the season and Buffalo State sat back and collected its seventh-consecutive victory, defeating host Allegheny, 1-0, today in a non-conference contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Buffalo State dominated play in the first half, outshooting the Gators 12-2 in the opening period, and Knight scored on a blast from 20 yards in the 28th minute.
- The Bengals protected the lead in the second half, allowing Allegheny to hold an 8-4 edge in shots. Buffalo State outshot the Gators, 16-10 for the game.
- Jessica McCarey (Middletown/Middletown) made a pair of saves to preserve her second shutout of the season.
FOR THE FOES- Christina Gallagher finished with five saves for Allegheny.
NOTEWORTHY- Buffalo State's seven-game winning streak is one shy of matching the school record set in 2006.
