WILLIAMSTOWN, Ma.—Buffalo State saw its school-record eight-game winning streak to open the season come to an end with a 5-0 loss in a non-conference game at Williams this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED- The Ephs opened the scoring just 4:08 into the game and held the 1-0 lead through the first intermission.
- Williams extended the lead to 2-0 with a power-play goal in the second period, and then pulled away with three more goals in the final frame, completing the scoring with just seven seconds remaining in regulation.
- The Ephs posted a 24-17 advantage in shots. Justine Silva (Baldwin Park, CA/Arroyo) finished with 15 saves on 19 shots faced, and Megan Sackett (Williamsville, NY/A.N. Myer (ON)) allowed one goal on five shots in relief.
FOR THE FOES- Michaela Levine and Emily Kreuger led Williams with two goals and an assist each.
- Olivia Stokes also scored.
- Christina Cleroux finished with 17 saves for the shutout.
UP NEXTBuffalo State will next face the nation's No. 1-ranked team for a two-game ECAC West set when it travels to Plattsburgh next Saturday and Sunday.
