Justine Silva (Baldwin Park, CA/Arroyo) finished with 39 saves and Buffalo State created some late chances, but it was not enough as the visiting Bengals dropped a 2-0 decision against nationally No. 1-ranked Plattsburgh in an ECAC West contest this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED- The Cardinals opened the scoring with just 17 seconds remaining in the first period.
- The deficit remained at just 1-0 until Plattsburgh finally added an insurance maker, chipping home a rebound with just under four minutes remaining in regulation.
- The Cardinals finished with a 41-15 advantage in shots.
FOR THE FOES- Melissa Sheeran scored her 10th goal of the season to open the scoring, and Bridget Balisy added her seventh of the year.
- Camille Leonard made 15 stops for the shutout.
