CORTLAND, N.Y.—Mike DeLaVergne (Pawling, NY/Pawling) made 33 saves and three different players scored for Buffalo State in a 3-0 victory over host Cortland tonight in a SUNYAC game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Pryce opened the scoring with his ninth goal of the season midway through the opening period, and Beaumont extended the lead with his fifth on the power play in the closing minutes of the frame. 
  • Michalski completed the scoring with his first of the year early in the second period and neither team would score again.
  • DeLaVergne posted his first collegiate shutout with the 33-save performance, only needing to make six stops in the third period.
  • Cortland finished with a 33-30 edge in shots.
