BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Tianna Hatch (Endicott/Elmira Free Academy) scored two goals, including the game winner, helping Buffalo State come from behind to beat Pitt-Bradford in a rain soaked non-conference matchup at Coyer field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Despite firing off the first five shots of the game, the Bengals found themselves down 1-0 after the Panthers Kaitlyn Williams managed to chip in a shot over the goalkeeper in the 25th minute.
- Buffalo State wasted little time and evened up the game 1-1 just over a minute later as Hatch tallied her first goal, walking the ball into the back of the net after dodging a Pitt-Bradford defender and the goalkeeper.
- The Panthers found themselves on top again after an own goal from Buffalo State. A misjudged header from a Bengal defender sent the ball into their own net.
- The Bengals bounced right back and tied the game 2-2 as Breanna Knight (Valley Stream/Valley Stream South) recorded her first goal of the season with a shot that zipped across the net to the far left corner off a pass from Kristin Seiferth (Brightwaters/Bay Shore) in the 39th minute.
- Hatch scored her second goal and the game winner three minutes later, collecting her own rebound off the crossbar for a quick put back.
- The Bengals continued to dominate possession in the second half, not allowing the Panthers a single shot.
- Buffalo State fired off plenty of strong shots throughout the half, but the Pitt-Bradford goalkeeper kept the Panthers from a larger deficit.
- In the closing seconds, Melissa Smith (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) fought through a scramble in front of the net, got a foot on the ball and slipped it past the goalkeeper to seal the Bengals victory.
- Buffalo State held a 28-2 advantage in total shots, including a 15-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Bengals also held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- Bengal goalkeeper Erica Knudsen (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) earned her first collegiate win in net.
FOR THE FOES- Kaitlyn Williams scored a goal for the Panthers off a pass from Meghan Stuck.
- Goalkeeper Sarah Dailey made 11 saves.
