Bass Sarr (New York/JREC) and
August Finn (High Falls/Roundout Valley) scored first-half goals and Buffalo State held on for a 2-1 victory over host Clarkson tonight in a non-conference game under the lights.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Sarr put the Bengals on the board in the 13th minute off of a set piece when he headed a corner kick by Sammy Wasson (Clarence/Clarence) inside the back post.
- Finn extended the Bengals' lead in the 36th minute when he netted his second of the season pounding home a bouncing ball in the box after a corner kick.
- Clarkson tallied the lone goal of the second half with a shot from the top of the box in the 78th minute, but Buffalo State was able to hold on for the victory.
- Buffalo State finished with an 8-6 edge in shots.
- William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) needed to make just one save to preserve the win in goal.
FOR THE FOES- Tucker Wilcox scored his fifth goal of the season for the Golden Knights with an assist from Kevin Calnan.
