ROCHESTER, N.Y.— Buffalo State opened up the final day of the RIT Tournament on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 victory over Mount St. Mary's, but fell to host RIT 3-0 to close out the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Hannah Renaldo (N. Collins/N. Collins) continues to pace the Bengal offense as the senior finished with 12 kills.
- Jennifer Cecchettini (Hamburg/Frontier) dished out 18 assists.
- Defensively, Rachelle Kelchlin (W. Seneca/St. Mary's) recorded 19 digs, while Delaney Laper (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) added 11.
- Buffalo State held slight advantages in the majority of statistics, including a 33-30 advantage in kills and 71-61 advantage in digs.

FINAL SCORE: RIT def. Buffalo State 3 - 0 (25-17,25-23,25-22)

HOW IT HAPPENED - After losing the first set, Buffalo State made a strong start in set two, but the Tigers were able to rally back after being down 17-12 to capture the win. The Final set was a close finish, but RIT was able to once again come out on top.
- RIT held a 39-17 advantage in kills, as well as a 46-31 advantage in digs.
- Renaldo led the Buffalo State offense with seven kills.
- Cecchettini recorded 14 assists and Kelchlin finished with 11 digs.
