BUFFALO, N.Y.— Buffalo State opened up conference play with a 3-0 win over Potsdam on Friday afternoon at SUNYAC Pool Play hosted by the Bengals.

HOW IT HAPPENED- Hannah Renaldo (N. Collins/N. Collins) continues to be the Bengals offensive leader this season. The senior finished with a team-high eight kills.
- Jennifer Cecchettini (Hamburg/Frontier) dished out 24 assists and added 7 digs as well.
- Defensively, Renaldo and Rachelle Kelchlin (W. Seneca/St. Mary's) both recorded 10 digs, while Britt Hallett-Jonathan (Basom/Akron) and Delaney Laper (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) added nine each.
- The Bengals finished the game with an 11-1 advantage in kills, as well as a 6-3 advantage in aces.
NOTEWORTHY- With the win, head coach Maria DePeters moves just one game shy of 100 career victories, improving her overall record to 99-55.
