Luke Pavone (Churchville/Churchville-Chili) tallied two first half goals to help lead Buffalo State to a 2-1 win over RIT and finish the Doug May Memorial Classic undefeated on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Despite RIT holding a 15-7 advantage in shots, the Bengals were able to capitalize on two shots early in the first half.
- In the 10th minute, Pavone ran down the right side on the counter attack, lacing a shot in the far right corner for the finish.
- 16 minutes later, Pavone recorded the eventual game-winner after driving a shot from 20 yards out into the right corner past an outstretched RIT goalkeeper.
- RIT controlled the majority of possession in the second half.
- The Tigers scored their lone goal in the 55th minute after converting on a penalty shot.
- William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) recorded six saves for the Bengals.
FOR THE FOES - Gene Sicoli had the Tigers only goal.
- Peter Cinibulk started in goal, making zero saves in 45 minutes.
- Chris Dill made one save and played the final 45 minutes.
