Catherine Mammoser (Lackawana/Eden) tallied a first half goal, but it was not enough as Western Connecticut managed to force two overtimes and earn a 2-1 win on the final day of the Rams Classic hosted by Farmingdale State College.

HOW IT HAPPENED- In the 40th minute, the Bengals got on the scoreboard when Mammoser scored off a rebound about 30 yards out.
- The Colonials knotted the game 1-1 in the 65th minute.
- After a scoreless first overtime, the Colonials scored the game winning goal just halfway through the second overtime.
- In an evenly played matchup, Buffalo State outshot Western Connecticut State 13-11, while the Colonials held a 7-5 advantage in corner kicks.
- Jessica McCarey (Middletown/Middletown) started in net for the Bengals and made four saves.
- Erica Knudsen (Wayne,NJ/Wayne Hills) played the final 35:51 of the game and recorded two saves.
FOR THE FOES- Autumn Sorice and Celia DeVoe were the Colonials goal scorers.
- Jillian Fernandez earned the win in net with six saves.
